Janesville’s City Manager gives an update on his search for a possible new career.

Mark Freitag says that he’s at a point in his professional career where he wants to see if there is something else out there whether it’s in a different career field or location. Freitag also said he appreciated people respecting his privacy and letting him work through the process.

Freitag says it’s been a productive almost nine years during his time in Janesville and is pleased with what he’s been able to help the community with.

Freitag has served as the City Manager of Janesville since December of 2013.
