jumpstart-open-house

Black and minority owned business owners in Rock County will soon have a physical building where they can connect, get away from their home office, receive support, or take educational courses.

Rock County Jumpstart Founder and Executive Director Genia Stevens says an open house will take place on October 17th from 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. at the new permanent brick and mortar location at 2080 Sutler Avenue in Beloit.

Stevens says the new space and programming are made possible for the next three years thanks to a $1 million grant form the State Department of Administration.

The open house will feature free food from Five Star Tainos.
