The city of Janesville has an opening for a voting member on the Library Board of Trustees, and they’re looking for someone passionate about the subject to apply.

Assistant to the City Manager Erin Davis says the board is looking for someone with knowledge in legal fields, local businesses, banking, hiring, or I-T.

Davis says they will take into account people who frequent the library or even work in libraries in other communities, and non-residents of Janesville could potentially have a spot on the board.

Interested volunteers can submit an application form on the cities website until December 21st.
