Defy Domestic Abuse is looking back on their most successful holiday program to date.
Director of Empowerment Services Kelsey Hood Christianson says they’ve been working since October on the holiday project by getting wish lists from people they’ve helped in the past.
Hood Christianson says they helped 260 people this holiday season, with 179 of those being children with the other 81 being adults.
Hood Christianson says they were able to give out a wide range of items from perfumes, soaps, and lotions, to toys and bikes for children.
Defy was also able to purchase all on the items on the gift lists of 63 different families.
