The 15th Annual Maple Sugar Fest at Big Hill Park in Beloit is making its return on February 25th after a three year break due to COVID-19.

Executive Director Brenda Plakans says people will be able to practice tapping sugar maple trees, observe the process of boiling sap, and tasting the final product on freshly made pancakes and sausage.

Plakans says not only is the event informational on the sugaring process, but people will get to learn about the deep history sugaring has with Native American cultures in Wisconsin.

People can purchase tickets the day of the event for $7 for adult members of Welty, $10 for non members, and $5 for children between the ages of 3 and 12.
