Janesville Mobilizing for Change has released its annual report for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.

Director Jane Golberg says this past year they were able to re-engage with youth in the community by having youth leadership groups in all three middle schools after not being able to work in the schools due to COVID.

Golberg says in September of 2022, they celebrated ten years of substance abuse prevention service with the city, and while they’re proud of the work they’ve done over the last decade they know there is still plenty left to do.

Over the last ten years, the agency has reduced past 30 day youth use rates of alcohol, tobacco, and marijuana by at last 10% in the city.
