Three Janesville residents are under arrest after they allegedly burglarized a deceased person’s residence.

According to a release, Janesville police responded to a residence in the 1400 block of Center Ave. for a report of a deceased individual on Saturday shortly after 2:00pm.

After an investigation, police found the individual was found deceased by an acquaintance around 1:00 a.m. Saturday and instead of reporting it to the police or paramedics, the acquaintance beckoned others to the residence who stole several items.

Arrested for their involvement in the incident were Tricia Moen, Timothy Tustin and Al Atkins. The name of the deceased individual is not being released at this time.

According to the release, the investigation is ongoing and there is still some property that hasn’t been recovered. It is believed others may be involved in this incident. If anyone has information on this incident, they can call the Janesville Police Department.
