Janesville city officials plan to sit down with local state representatives for a legislative roundtable.

The event will take place in the council chambers at City Hall from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10th.

Communications Specialist Nick Faust says some of the City’s legislative priorities include the restoration of local fiscal control, the fair and equitable distribution of state shared revenue, fully funding the payment for municipal services program, and investment in the Woodman’s Sports and Convention Center.

The public is encouraged to attend the discussion and gain valuable insight into these legislative issues and the City’s proposed solutions.
