The Stateline YMCA plans to raise $50,000 over the course of the day Wednesday as part of their Day of Giving.

CEO Anna Hankins says people can donate by visiting their website, giving them a call, or current members can have an amount taken out monthly similar to their membership fees.

Hankins says all the money goes right back to the financial assistance the YMCA provides as well as programs like childcare, swim lessons, youth sports, and gymnastics.

Hankins says the YMCA has already raised about $13,000 in pledges from their staff and board members this year and pledges continue to come in.
