The Beloit Police Department works to make the public aware of the resources on obtaining, and learning how to use Narcan.

Beloit Police are putting out the warning to the community after two suspected Fentanyl related deaths in the last week.

Captain Chris Eberhardt says recently the synthetic opiate has been mixed, with or disguised as cocaine or crack cocaine.

Eberhardt says in historically, most of the synthetic opiate that the Beloit Police Department encountered was mixed with heroin.

Eberhardt says anyone who ingests any sort of street drug should get educated on the use of Narcan.
