The American Red Cross is hoping a little swag will encourage people to donate blood during April which is National Volunteer Month.

American Red Cross – Wisconsin Region Regional Communications Manager Laura McGuire says this month the Red Cross and PEANUTS are joining forces as a reminder that it’s cool to be kind and help save lives.

Anyone who donates blood through April 23rd will receive a free PEANUTS t-shirt featuring Snoopy.

The Red Cross is holding blood drives Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Milton city Hall, April 17th at the Beloit Public Library, and April 19th at Parker High School in Janesville.
