A 45-year-old Beloit man is facing a number of charges after a disagreement between neighbors ended in gun-fire.  Police say when investigating the incident about 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Roosevelt Avenue, officers also found a marijuana grow in the suspect’s basement.  Authorities say it all began when Christian M. Griep started an argument with a neighbor’s mom.  Officers say the neighbor confronted Griep, but was attacked himself.  Griep is then accused of retrieving and firing a gun.  Police say he was arrested on charges including Battery, Discharge of a Firearm, and Manufacture of Marijuana.
