Rock County Parks is holding the ribbon cutting ceremony for Rock River Heritage Park Saturday morning.
County Parks Manager John Traynor says the event will feature the ribbon cutting at 10:30, followed by outdoor games and activities such as rock painting, a disc golf demonstration, scavenger hunts, and an outdoor story walk.
Traynor says they’re just at the tip of the iceberg with this park and it offers a number of amenities like the buildings, the man made lake, and access to the Rock River.
The event is free and open to the public and starts at 10:00am on the Eastern banks of the Rock River just of North River Road.
