Beloit police are investigating a report of the armed robbery of a pedestrian on the city’s west side.  Police say the suspect used a gun to rob a man of his wallet about 11:00 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of Lincoln Avenue.  One shot was fired, but nothing is known to have been struck.  The robber is described as a young black male, about six-foot-one, perhaps in his early 20’s, with a thin build, and wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.  Police ask anyone with information, or home surveillance video, to share it with them.
