If you’re a parent considering homeschooling, and upcoming presentation at the Hedberg Public Library may be for you.

Head of Youth Services Elizabeth Matson says Homeschooling 101 takes places August 8th at 5:00pm and people will hear from Jodi Buntin, the president of the Wisconsin Homeschooling Parents Association.

Matson says the library also offers plenty of resources for homeschooling families, including materials in the children’s room which are specific for homeschool teachers, and the library will be holding a teacher open house in September.

Registration is requested, but not required, for the event and can be done by contacting the library.
