Beloit Health Systems is expanding their orthopedic services so they can make care a little more accessible.

Director for the Beloit Orthopedic Center Dr. Kenneth Klein says they’re adding Dr. Derek Damrow, who is a trained orthopedic surgeon with expierence in treating elbow and shoulder pain, and he’s expected to being seeing patients at the end of August.

Klein says Occupational Health and Sports Medicine Center staff will now see walk-ins for orthopedic injuries, so people who don’t want to go to the E-R will be able to get care for their injuries.

Klein says they’re also partnering with the Orthopedic and Spine Centers of Wisconsin to provide close to home treatment so people don’t have to travel for their orthopedic care.
