Just a few weeks into her role, the new Alice in Dairyland is already spreading the word about the world of agriculture.

Ashley Hagenow tells WCLO’s Your Talk Show when the program started in 1948, it was a different avenue for women to get involved in agriculture and to promote agriculture and she’s excited to share the opportunities in the field and the organizations history.

Hagenow tells WCLO’s Your Talk Show everyone is connected to agriculture, so even if you’re someone who’s never even stepped foot on a farm there are still so many ways people are connected simply because they eat food and know where it comes from.

Hagenow, who hails from Portage, is the first Columbia County Alice in Dairyland since the role began.
