The 55 year old convicted sex offender who is accused of trying to kidnap a juvenile girl in Janesville over the weekend is held on a significant cash bond.

Daryl Holloway appeared in front of Court Commissioner Jack Hoag Tuesday afternoon, where Hoag noted the seriousness of the crimes Holloway was accused of and ordered a $150,000 cash bond.

A previous news release states Janesville police received a report about 5:30 Friday night, of a juvenile female walking in the area of North Crosby Avenue and Bond Place, when a man in a vehicle followed her and asked if she wanted to smoke marijuana.

Police report when she refused, the man exited his vehicle and grabbed her by the wrist, causing her to scream.

Holloway, a convicted sex offender, faces charges of attempted kidnapping, child enticement, and abduction of a child.
