A 31-year-old Janesville man is facing a number of charges after police accuse him of fleeing and hit and run.  A Janesville police department news release reports officers observed a white Jeep traveling at a high rate of speed on West Court Street about 2:00 a.m. Sunday.  Officers say the vehicle sped off when they attempted a traffic stop.  After the Jeep hit a curb, police say the driver fled on foot leaving two occupants in the vehicle.  Authorities say Jonathan R. Richardson was captured with the assistance of the Rock County Sheriff’s Office Drone Team.  Richardson was arrested on charges including Hit and Run, 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, and Fleeing or Eluding.
