A 53-year-old Milton man who’s accused of firing off a gun inside his apartment last week is held on a $500 cash bond.

John Diggles made his initial appearance before Rock County Court Commissioner Mason Braunschweig Friday afternoon on two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession with intent to deliver THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to the criminal complaint, Diggles damaged his own ear drum when he shot through the roof of his apartment and into the unit above his the evening of March 13th.

Diggles is scheduled to appear again in Rock County Court on April 2nd for his preliminary hearing.
