The Rock County Historical Society is trying to make their tours more accessible with a new project.

Executive Director Timothy Maahs says they are collaborating with the Rock County Impactors Team to be able to provide tours that are more accessible for visitors who are vision impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, or non-English speaking.

Maahs says they want their museums to be welcoming and the project furthers that mission by creating content that takes diversity and accommodation into account.

Maahs says a fundraiser for the project will be held April 10th from 6 to 7pm at Timber Hill Winery in Milton.
