A Janesville man and woman are in custody after a police chase from Janesville to Beloit. Janesville police were called to Virks Liquor on West Court Street a little after 6:30 p.m. Saturday for the report of an armed robbery. While investigating that incident, another officer checking the area saw a man jump into the suspect vehicle at the Exxon Station on Center Avenue and gave chase down Highway 51. Beloit police stopped the vehicle with a tire deflation device and officers say the passenger yelled he had a gun and began to run while pointing a pipe at police. Officers say they realized it was a pipe and used a Tazer to take the man into custody. 47-year-old Benito Del Bosque was arrested on charges including armed robbery and resisting an officer. 25-year-old Emily A. Revel was arrested on charges including party to the crime of armed robbery and 2nd degree reckless endangering safety.
