The suspect in a road rage stabbing incident in Janesville is sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Rock County Judge Karl Hanson accepted a guilty plea from Damien Walls to a single count of first degree recklessly endangering safety with use of a dangerous weapon as a repeater back in March.

Additional charges of substantial battery, disorderly conduct, possession with intent to deliver THC, and possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed but read into the record.

Thursday morning Judge Hanson sentenced Walls to 10 years in prison and five years of extended supervision.

He was sentenced to an additional two years in prison on two unrelated cases.

Janesville Police say Walls and another driver confronted each other after a near collision in the area of Main and Racine Streets on April 20th of 2022.

Walls is accused of stabbing the other driver in the head.
