Rock County is seeking people interested in serving on the Parks Advisory Committee for a two year term ending in June of 2025.

Parks Manager John Traynor says there are two vacancies, and people on the committee will aid in decisions regarding a multitude of park related issues and can relay ideas and concerns from the community to the committee.

Traynor says the committee isn’t looking for a specific person, but certainly having a background in parks or a related field would be a benefit.

People have until June 21st at 8am to apply for a spot on the committee, and can do so by visiting the Rock County website.
