The April election may be more than two weeks away but voting starts on Tuesday.

Rock County Clerk Lisa Tollefson says municipal clerks have begun mailing absentee ballots. The deadline to request one is March 29th, although that doesn’t account for shipping time.

Early in-person absentee voting begins March 19th and runs through March 29th. That is also the final day to register to vote in advance.

The polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd.
