A local community is planning a 4th of July parade residents can join without ever leaving their home. Milton Parade Coordinator Derek Henze says despite the pandemic, organizers still wanted to celebrate, but also keep participants and spectators safe. Henze says the solution is to encourage residents decorate their homes and businesses and redraw the parade route past those addresses. He says the event planned form 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on July 4th will feature a parade marshall, judges, and several traditional entries. Others are also encouraged to travel the route, which will be availalbe on the city’s website after the June 28th entry deadline.
