Water levels on the Rock River may be dropping. The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says the U.S. Geological Survey Gauge in Afton shows the water level below 6.5 feet. Therefore, county ordinance allows the slow-no-wake order to be lifted on the portion of the Rock River downstream from the Indianford Dam to the Beloit Rock Town Line Bridge. Deputies will remove the slow-no–wake signs.
