The City of Janesville State of the City Address is coming back and invites the local community to attend.

Communications Specialist Nick Faust says it’s important to the city that residents are engaged, and stakeholders and community members are heard and informed of the city’s plans and accomplishments.

Faust mentions an open house will start at 5 p.m. January 27th on City Hall’s Fourth Floor.

City departments, divisions and offices will showcase their services and accomplishments from the previous year and answer questions from the public.

Following the showcase, City Manager Mark Freitag will be in the City Council Chambers presenting the State of the City Address.

JATV Media Services will broadcast the event on Charter Channel 994 for those unable to attend.

Attendees are required to wear face masks.
